Congratulations to Ibrahim Moge and Saja Ham, who were recently recognized by King Street Youth Center for their excellent qualities including leadership and teamwork. Great job, Ibrahim and Saja! The following was written about them in the King Street Youth Center newsletter:
Each year, the Jake Agna Award is presented to youth who exhibit a high level of leadership, curiosity, humor, teamwork, and respect for self and others. This year’s recipients are EMS’ students Ibrahim Moge and Saja Ham.
Ibrahim has been attending King Street Center programming since he was in Kindergarten. Now 13 years old and in 8th grade, he has strung together two rockstar consecutive summer seasons on the Lemonade Stand and plays basketball for the Edmunds Middle School team. Ibrahim is a great friend and is always making everyone laugh.
Saja is in 6th grade and is new to the King Street Center Teen Program this year, but already her fiercely independent nature and go-getter attitude has made a leader out of her. Saja participated in Chill Skateboarding this past fall, is playing in Parks & Rec Basketball, and attends Girls Group every week.
