EMS will be hosting its annual Title I Meeting on Wednesday, 1/12/22 at 6pm. The meeting will be remote via Zoom (see details below), and will occur immediately prior to the monthly EngageEMS meeting at 6:30pm.
The meeting, hosted by Principal Sabrina Westdijk, will cover the following agenda:
- What is a Title I School?
- How does the district use Title I funds?
- How does EMS specifically use Title I funds?
- What is our Continuous Improvement Plan?
- What are your rights under Title I?
- What are the school’s requirements?
- DRAFT Parent & Family Engagement Policy
- DRAFT EMS Family Engagement Procedure
- School/ Parent Compact
Later this spring, please look for follow-up information about collaborative sessions for parents/guardians to provide feedback on the school-based family engagement policy and EMS’s School-Family Compact.
